The Los Angeles Dodgers sign Andrew Sisco
The Dodgers have signed 29-year old lefty reliever Andrew Sisco to a minor league deal. Sisco pitched in 26 games (3 starts) last year in Mexico + AAA-ball and he was 3-2 with a 5.28 ERA and a 1.79 WHIP. He last pitched in the majors back in 2007 with the Chicago White Sox. Sisco has pitched in 151 games (0 starts) in his first three years in the majors and he is 3-9 with 1 save, a 5.18 ERA and a 1.67 WHIP. If Sisco could ever learn to throw strikes, he would be a good pitcher in the majors because he has good stuff. He will compete for a bullpen job this spring, but, he will likely start the 2012 season in AAA-ball for the Dodgers.
