The Dodgers have signed infielder/outfielder Pablo Ozuna to a contract running through the remainder of this season. The 33-year old righty swinging Ozuna played in 32 games for the White Sox this season and he was 18 for 64 (.281 avg, .641 OPS) with 5 runs scored and 6 RBIs. He will likely play all over the place for the Dodgers earning a fair share of playing time. Ozuna has now played in 274 games in his major league career and he is 184 for 645 (.285 avg, .680 OPS) with 78 runs scored, 2 homers, 42 RBIs and 28 stolen bases. The Dodgers have designated infielder Luis Maza for assignment to make room on the roster for Ozuna. Maza played in 45 games for the Dodgers this season and he was 18 for 79 (.228 avg, .560 OPS) with 7 runs scored, 1 homer and 4 RBIs. This is a nice upgrade on the bench for the Dodgers.
