The Los Angeles Dodgers recall Jason Johnson from AAA

The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled 34-year old righty starting pitcher Jason Johnson from AAA. He will likely replace Chan Ho Park in the rotation so that Park can rejoin the bullpen where he has been very effective this season. Johnson pitched in 20 games (16 starts) in AAA ball this season and he was 11-5 with a 3.82 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. He also has worked in 1 game in long relief for the Dodgers already this season working 3 innings and allowing only 1 unearned run. The Dodgers need to go out and get another starting pitcher in a trade because depending on Johnson to help is a recipe for disaster. Johnson has now pitched in 240 games (219 starts) in his major league career and he is 55-98 with a 4.98 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP.
