The Dodgers got outstanding production out of Loney and Kemp the second half of last season and the Dodgers are depending on them to do it for a whole year in 2008. 23-year old lefty swinging firstbaseman James Loney played in 96 games for the Dodgers last season and he was 114 of 344 (.331 avg, .919 OPS) with 41 runs scored, 15 homers and 67 RBIs. Matt Kemp is a 23-year old righty swinging right fielder who played in 98 games for the Dodgers last season in which he was 100 for 292 (.342 avg, .893 OPS) with 47 runs scored, 10 homers, 42 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. If Loney and Kemp continue to play like they did last season the Dodgers are going to have a good offense.
